The ActiveCare Standard Homecare bed gives the user control over the revolutionary pivoting function of MedMizer's Pivot Bed with the touch of a button. The Auto-Pivot feature is integrated into the pendant controls and assists with standing, sitting upright, and transferring in and out of bed. It allows the bed to transition into a seated position where the user can place their feet on the floor and safely enter or exit the bed. Thus making shifting, scooting, and swinging one’s legs over the side of the bed unnecessary.
Upgrade to the adjustable height frame, and your Auto-Pivot bed will include height adjustment controls located on the hand pendant. The adjustable height frame includes 3" rolling caster wheels, giving the bed the ability to be transported if needed. Additionally, a Trendelenberg remote is available as an upgrade for the adjustable height frame, which allows the Auto-Pivot bed to achieve Trendelenburg and reverse Trendelenburg positioning.
What Makes This Different:
All positioning adjustments and auto-pivot functions can be made with the hand pendant that is included with the ActiveCare Standard Homecare bed. What really makes this different is the ability to be disconnected at the foot section. A caregiver can easily push the foot section away from the sleeping surface to create a sitting surface that is just like a chair. The foot section will now be out of the user’s way, making transfers, care, and therapy much easier and safer. The back of the bed can also achieve a High Fowler position (close to 90º) for users who need to sit in an upright position.

This is a very firm and comfortable mattress. Not sure how it prevents bed sores, I am only on it for nighttime sleep. If this is like my old mattress, it will last for a very long time. I have had my hospital bed for 14 years with the same mattress, I just needed an update.
This chair was easy to put togather. I havent been able to use it yet to give a true test. It was delivered as scheduled and they answered all question quickly. I would recommend this company.
I ordered an air flow bed for my paralyzed son. I ordered the wrong bed so when it came I reached out to customer service for a refund and reordered the correct bed protekt aire 6000. The rep was professional and process was very easy. The bed is very good quality and does everything it stated. We love it and would purchase from here again!!!
Worked great but installation instructions for motor not helpful
This hospital bed and bedding set are a great value. It went together well but the motor attachment instructions were not good and the online videos did not get the job done for us. We tinkered and figured it out. It was especially hard because the motor did not match the motor shown in the instructions or on the videos. Would buy again though.
